many firsts

Over the last week or so, Jarrett has had many firsts. On Saturday, July 14th, Jarrett went to his first birthday party for Samantha who was turning 5. On Sunday, July 15th, Jarrett went to church for the first time. Jarrett had his 2 month appointment this Thursday, poor baby, he had to get 3 shots. He cried, of course but was quickly comforted by mommy. He went to Costco for the first time. He went to his Aunt Lavern's for the first time also. Jarrett is doing well, he's grabbing for things, smiling a lot more, talking lots (in baby language of course), sleeping about 5 hours at night before waking up to eat (all in all, he only wakes up once at night), always getting out of daddy's swaddles. Daddy was able to keep him swaddled all through the night twice this week (when Jarrett was a little down from the shots). This upcoming week Jarrett will have his first playdate with friend, Tyler. Lastly, Jarrett enjoyed his first restaurant outing by celebrating his mom's birthday on Friday, July 20th. That's all for now.
